The person in charge will be listed each month on the Web.
You must sign up at Palmer’s Restaurant following our monthly golf scramble or at our
monthly meeting, by the response date. You must check your tee-time and the golf course
by telephone at 753-4653 or online Subscribers to thevillages.net. have access on the
Wednesday prior to the Saturday event.
Late sign-ups used as a substitute when needed.
If you must cancel your tee-time call the person in charge for that month
Event will be a 4 person scramble. Each participant’s drive must be used at least once.
Men tee from back or middle tee, women may choose any. If possible two carts per
foursome will be scheduled.

out at a different restaurant once a month. Sign up at the regular monthly meeting or

Movies & Dinner

Usually, the first Sunday of the month. We meet in the theater lobby half hour before the
scheduled start of the movie. Late comers, just go in and enjoy the movie. Afterward, meet
in the lobby. Either Sally or Beth will coordinate the locations for dinners. Wear the round
Sumter Singles button so you can find the group as you gather before and after the movie.

Meet outside of Toojay's Restaurant, start walking at 9:00 AM sharp. (summers - 8:30AM)
We walk around the exterior of Sumter Landing (2.5 miles) for approximately 45 minutes
Everyone walks at his/her own pace. After the walk, most participants have brunch at
Toojay's. Friends and relatives are welcome. No sign-up necessary.

Second Sunday of every month at Lake Miona Recreation Center
3:00-5:30 (Doors open at 2:30)
Meet your single friends for an afternoon of your favorite games, including
the dice game Farkle, Mexican Train, and many other of your favorite game choices.

Lunch with New Club Members
Every month on the Wednsday after our general meeting, the club president and some of
the club officers get together with club newbies for Coffee and snacks, 2:00 at Panera's
Sumter Landing This informal meet and greet gives us a chance to meet our new members
one on one; it's a nice time for conversation about all kinds of stuff as well as info on our
town and our club. If you are new to the club this year, and have not yet been to a newbie's
lunch at Panera's, join us next time.

This is a drop in event so wear your club button. There is no assigned spot to meet, and no
sign-ups so just keep your eyes opened for other club members---That button says it all.
We meet twice a month at a local establishment where music and food are offered.
The Pub in Bowling Alley, just outside Spanish Springs.
At any of these places, if you arrive on time, enjoy meeting and greeting others as they
arrive. When there is a "table size" group, let the hostess seat you. If you come late, ask
the hostess if our group has been seated.
